Dear Brother-
I wrote you yesterday_ I then understood that the ledger was to publish the communication as sent, (names divided in columns) _ in the inside on the Second page_ It appears this morning this is not the case_ The names are not in columns_nor in the article on the inside, yet many are surprised that the Ledger published it at all_Perhaps it will do_ The Bulletin, with article of “Justice,” we sent to you. Prof. McC [McClintock] Herald volunteer a Judge Hepburn
I said yesterday that I had ordered 100 copies of Ledger as you desired_ when I care ti make it, 2 found they would not go [illegible], 2 paid for them_2 accordingly paid 67 cents, + hope Prof Mc will receive them through Threedler today at noon_
We are all well_ I think the college will not suffer_ possibly gain, as the Southern Students endorse Prof McC. not with [illegible] his article in the Ch. Ad+ Jn [Christian Advocate and Journal]
Is it true that suits have been, or will be instituted against - Justice- Jailor- Constables, + Judge?_ I hope I may see you at Commencement
