    12th. Went to Dr. Maclin's: pleasant family. Went to Pindell's H. none there but three ladies: prayed & left. The people say they wish a Sabbath appt.. Went thence to Bro' Cissels. Was very much pleased with the family: a pretty girl; fine children. Was pleased with bro' Connell a blind [one word illegible] singer. He is worthy & interesting. Slept together.
