CALHOUN COUNTY, situated in the southern part of Michigan, and drained by Kalamazoo and St. Joseph's rivers. Area, 720 square miles. Seat of justice, Marshall. Pop. in 1834, 3,280; in 1840, 10,599; in 1850, 19,162. (Fanning's, 1853)
