Dickinson College holds annual commencement ceremonies

Dickinson College, at its annual commencement ceremonies, grants baccalaureate degrees to twenty members of the class of 1849.  One of the graduates, Moncure Daniel Conway of Falmouth, Virginia, will become a vocal and active abolitionist in the coming years. (By James Gerencser)
