SERENADE.
The friends of Judge DOUGLAS met in large numbers at the Planters’ House, on Thursday night, and put in requisition the best musical talent of the city, in the way of a Serenade. Such a compliment could not fail to call forth a speech from the Senator, and it told with excellent effect on the multitude who heard it. Yesterday morning Judge DOUGLAS left for Belleville, in company with a large delegation of our citizens. Notice is taken of what transpired there in another column.
