    NEW-ORLEANS, Tuesday, July 2.

    The steamer Arizona brings Brazos dats to the 28th ult., and $73,000 in specie.

    Private letters from Monterey to the 22d, and Matamoras to the 26th, say that Gen. ZARAGOZA, commanding the Liberals, had defeated and taken MIRAMON prisoner near Salamanoa.

    Civil War is raging in Nueva Leon, Coahuila and Northern Mexico, where efforts are being made for COMONFORE'S return.
