YANKEE FIENDISHNESS. We have so frequently read of the nefarious atrocities of the Yankees, that we are prepared for any story that may be told of their loathsome conduct. A gentleman just from Washington county informs us that wherever the troops are stationed along the river, the private graveyards are all entered, the graves dug open, the coffins taken out, some much decayed, and broken open and the decomposed remains of them left lying exposed to the weather. Can a parallel be found for this since the dawn of civilization? They assert that they are in quest of rebel treasure. - Vicksburg Whig.
