CONCORDIA PARISH, situated on the east boundary of Louisiana, between Tensas and Mississippi rivers. Area, 1,300 square miles. Face of the country a universal alluvial flat partially subject to annual inundation. Seat of justice, Vidalia. Pop in 1820, 2,626; in 1830, 4,662; in 1840, 9,414; in 1850, 7,758.
