Altercation on board U.S. Navy prize leads to four sailors arrested for mutiny

The suspected American slaveship Virginia was being sailed back to Norfolk, Virginia from the African coast with a U.S. Navy prize crew in control.  A member of that prize crew argued and fought with a member of the Virginia's crew.  The altercation spread with the final result of four members of the prize crew being put in irons for the crime of mutiny and confined for the rest of the voyage.
