Drouth in Kansas.
The failure of crops in Kansas, on account of the drouth, renders the aspect of things in that territory terrible. Money is very scarce; the wheat crop has proved almost an entire failure, and corn is but little better; potatoes the same. Hundreds of farmers will get no returns at all, and other hundreds will not get more than one or two bushels per acre. Unless the benevolent hands of those in others States, where the returns of grain have been bountiful, are opened, there will be much suffering in Kansas.
