    CARLISLE.

A gentleman just arrived from Carlisle, says that the rebels behaved remarkably well in regard to the College grounds in that city. Some of them said they were graduates of the University, and others that their fathers had graduated there. They camped in the College grounds, and were even careful to build their fires on the gravel walks and not on the grass plots. This gentleman, who is a Professor in the College, describes the discipline of the army as being perfect.
