BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind., situated toward the southeasterly part of the state, and traversed by Driftwood fork of White river and its branches. Area, 480 square miles. Courts are held at Columbus. Pop. in 1830, 5,476; in 1840, 10,042; in 1850, 5,763.
