A VALLANDIGHAM’S DISTRICT.
A revolt by the Democrats of the Third District against the despotic and traitorous course of the Vallandigham clique has been began in [earnest?]. Some sixty of the active Democrats of Montgomery county have “[set?] the ball in motion,” and over their own names denounce the action of the Democratic County Convention to appoint delegates to Columbus for refusing to come to the support of the Government, and to brand as traitors the rebels now in arms against it [illegible]. They [illegible] spare the sympathizers with rebellion, and call upon the Democrats who desire to sustain this Government and this Union, to cooperate with them and [all?] loyal citizens irrespective of party, in the nomination and election of county officers. The Democrats of Montgomery will no doubt be well represented in the Union State Convention on the 5th of September.
