Portsmouth from the Kentucky shore of the Ohio - The view shows the appearance of the Steamboat Landing, as seen from Springville, on the Kentucky side of the Ohio. The Biggs' House, corner of Market and Front-street, appears on the left, Gaylord & Co.'s Rolling Mill on the right. The Scioto River passes at the foot of the mountainous range on the left.
