Dickinson College holds annual commencement ceremonies

Dickinson College, at its annual commencement ceremonies, grants baccalaureate degrees to twelve members of the class of 1853.  Graduate James Mitchell Shearer notes the historical significance of the date when delivering his commencement oration, titled "The Bastille—Sixty-four Years Ago."
