Chicago, Feb'y 10 1860
Friend Lincoln:
I enclose you a letter from Ex-M. C. Billinghurst of Wis, which he sent here in ignorance of your P. O. Address.
You must get yourself in training for the Presidency. Do not be surprised if the Press & Tribune break ground for you in a few days.
Yours Faithfully
Horace White
P. S. If I might be allowed to give a word of advice in the matter of friend Billinghurst's request I should say go by all means. If you can revolutionize the northern Badgers as thoroughly as you have the Southern Buckeyes, the opportunity should not be missed.
