Lincoln deposits his largest legal fee

Abraham Lincoln deposits $4,800 in the Springfield Marine & Fire Insurance Co. bank.  This money comes from legal fees in the McLean County tax case where Lincoln represented the Illinois Central Railroad.  This is the most lucrative case of his legal career, but Lincoln has had to sue his client in order to get paid.
