    24. Took a pleasant walk on my favorite Run. Wrote a letter to Ma, one to Mrs. Marshall - sent the money for the N.Y. Tribune. In the afternoon walked to R. Had my horse sent for - for Mr. S's use. Was vexed at not being able to find the P.U. after much walking. Went to Bro' Barry's. Led Class: Had a fine time. Had a fine walk with that clever girl Martha B. - found out there was something between her & Ed. Wilson. Took tea at Bro' S's. - walked out toward Mr. W's with Banate: he stuck on overtaking Miss Lydia J. - I didn't.
