    AN OPINION. – The Columbus Corner Stone advances the following opinion of the result of the next presidential election:

    THE PRESIDENCY. – We are frequently asked who will, in our opinion, be the nominee of the Charleston Convention for the Presidency. We have not the remotest idea. It is a subject in which we feel no sort of interest, but our opinion is that whoever he may be he will be very badly beaten.
