Interruption of a Political Meeting.
EVANSVILLE, Ind., August 25, 1860.
A republican meeting at Newburg, Indiana, last night, was interrupted by a band of men led on by Sol. [Keeper?], the Town Marshal. Pistols were fired into the crowd, and several persons injured. The republicans finally drove their assailants from the ground.
