WE DON’T BELIEVE IT!
The following remarkable prophecy, “good for ninety days,” appears in the editorial columns of the Atlanta (Ga.) Intelligencer of the 15th instant:
In three months from this time, Lincoln and his Government will have removed from Washington city to Boston; the fifteen slaves will be united under the Constitution of the Confederate States; the Middle and Northwestern States will have formed a separate and distinct Government of their own, and Lincoln will be left alone in his glory, with the capital of his Government in the Yankee city of Boston, and the extent of his territory will be composed of the six States of Puritan New England. We predict the utter disgrace, overthrow and annihilation of the whole batch of abolition conspirators who planned the infamous revolution and plunged a free, happy and once united people in all the horrors of civil war.”
