On the left is seen the railroad train for Portland; the Kennebec Bridge is shown on the right; the court house, the First Baptist and Episcopal Churches appear on the elevated ground above the railroad cars; the First Congregationalist, Free-Will Baptist and the Catholic Churches in the central part, above the business portion of the city.
