At the Union Grounds in Brooklyn, the Atlantic baseball club defeats the Eckford Club 35-8

Two of the best known New York area baseball clubs met in Brooklyn for an important match.  At the former skating rink off of Marcy Avenue, known as the Union Grounds, The Atlantics defeated the Eckford club 35-8.  (By John Osborne)
