Tubman returns to Maryland to rescue her niece

Harriet Tubman traveled to Baltimore to rescue her niece, Kessiah Bowley, who was to be sold and separated from her family. She safely escorted Kessiah, her father John Bowley, and Kessiah's children from Baltimore to Philadelphia. (By James Chapnick)
