    27. Went over to Concord: called on bro' Sayer. Had a rather small cong.: had to set the tunes myself. My text was Eph. 6.11 "Put on the whole armor &c." Led class. Went to dine with bro' Posey; a fine man with a fine daughter- a flower by name and nature: Deale's Flame. She went over with me to Tent: had a good cong. Text 1 Jn. 6.21 "Little children, keep yrselves from Idols." Was introduced to several of them: led class. After Preaching went down to G.T. Went to bro' Woodward's. Was very much pleased with the family. Bro' Myers there. Went with Miss Lizzie W. to Church: Lanahan knew me and invited me to the Pulpit. The Choir sang well: one Slight deviation, however.
